What does the Chamber of Commerce do...?
- Keeps members informed on relevant legislative and economic changes
- Makes representations on behalf of any individual member to the appropriate local, state and federal government representatives regarding any issue that is concerning the Chamber member
- Makes representations on behalf of Chamber members as a whole to the appropriate local, state and federal government representatives regarding any issue that is of concern to the Chamber
- Convenes regular meetings where issues concerning members of the Chamber can be raised and discussed
- Convenes regular meetings that provide opportunities (on a rotating basis) for Chamber members to promote their businesses
- Promotes an atmosphere that encourages the general public to come to Strathfield for commercial (shopping) and professional purpose.
- Acts at all times to promote business and professional activity
